Le gymnase André Malraux a été construit dans les années 1980 pour satisfaire notamment les besoins du collège Lachenal voisin pour ses séances d’EPS. On peut y pratiquer de nombreuses activités : gymnastique, basket, volley, tennis ou badminton.
A l’extérieur, les sportifs profiteront d’un vaste terrain permettant la pratique du foot, du hand ball et du basket … et même trois courts de tennis.*

Un gymnase pour qui ? Le SIM met à disposition du collège Lachenal le gymnase André Malraux, la salle annexe et le plateau sportif pour ses séances d’EPS et l’UNSS. Mais ces équipements, en dehors des périodes scolaires ( le soir, le mercredi après midi et le samedi) sont également à la disposition des associations intercommunales qui se voient attribuer des créneaux d’utilisation en fonction des besoins de tous. Il en est de même pour la salle d’escalade utilisée par le collège, l’école des sports de St Bonnet de Mure et de St Laurent de Mure, et les associations. N’hésitez pas à venir la découvrir !
